2014 Arts Guild Award Presentations
In summer 2014, the Stevenage Arts Guild were delighted to be able to provide support for 15 young people who are currently studying towards or working to develop a career in the Arts.
The awards are designed to help them improve their standard of performance by contributing towards the cost of a new instrument or provide equipment for their studies.
This year’s recipients are:

Alex Crowley - Studying for BA (Hons) in Animation
Eric Caterer-Cave - Has been offered a place at Central School of
Ballet
Bethany Filler
Joshua Heyman
Bethany Huckle - Studying at the Urdang Academy in London
Joshua Ellershaw - Planning to attend a course at the National
Youth Theatre
Holly Wakefield
Joshua Smith
Georgina Temple - Training in dance & musical theatre
Charisa Knight - Hoping to audition for performing arts college
Jodie Charles - Studying at Performing Arts College
Lydia Dobson - Cellist. Attends Purcell School of Music and
starting at Royal College of Music in September
Damani Williams - completed 3 month contract with Slovenian Royal
Ballet & now auditioning all over Europe

This year, the Arts Guild is pleased to be able to support a
second awards scheme during autumn 2014 - and we have also extended
the age range eligible for awards from ages 12 to 24.
Applications for the autumn awards are now open - and all
applications should be submitted by the closing date on 14th
November 2014.
