28 Nov 24 Chris Jones - The Corris Railway: Past, present & future

Stevenage Locomotive Society
Perhaps the least known of the Great Little Trains of Wales, located near Machynlleth, it is growing rapidly with some momentous earthworks being undertaken to restore it to nigh on its former glory. A show not to be missed for those who wish to see something different from their trips to mid-Wales narrow gauge railways.
Time: 19:30
Venue: Community Arts Centre, Roaring Meg Retail Park SG1 1XN
Tickets: Members free and 2 for visitors. Light refreshment break mid-way through evening and the Battle of Britain Locomotive Society sales stand is expected to be in attendance raising funds for the next overhaul of 34081 "92 Squadron"
