Stevenage Locomotive Society
British Rail said farewell to the Deltics with a last trip through Stevenage on 2nd January 1982. 40 plus years later Deltics still make a foray onto the national network, occasionally through Stevenage, and Murray discusses the trials and tribulations of those iconic machines in the care of the Deltic Preservation Society.

Tickets: Members free and 2 for visitors. Light refreshment break mid-way through evening and the Battle of Britain Locomotive Society sales stand is expected to be in attendance raising funds for the next overhaul of 34081 "92 Squadron"
