Paul brings another selection from the vast collection of now digitised colour slides from the past.

Stevenage Symphony Orchestra & Orpheus Choir of North Herts
Stevenage Symphony Orchestra and Orpheus Choir of North Herts are joining forces for a great evening of music in the wonderful setting of St Mary's Church, Hitchin.
The programme includes Dvorak Te Deum and Handel Coronation Marches, along with other orchestral and choral music.

12 Jul 18 Floral Demonstration by Cherie Medis 'Tall Tales'
 

Stevenage Floral Art Society
You can watch an entertaining evening of flower arranging on stage. At the end, the arrangements are given away in a free raffle. We break for refreshments which are included and we have a sales table for floral sundries and plants. We have some flower arranging lessons during the year and we also run outings.

The title is a quote from Shakespeare's Sonnets 18, ' Shall I compare thee to a summers day?. To celebrate summer we present an evening of music loosely related to The Bard. But don't be fooled, this music is NOT Elizabethan by any stretch of the imagination. We have engaged a 4 piece jazz band but you'll have to come to the concert to find out more........

30 Aug 18 Bryan Cross - The Peter Bland & Harold Clements Collections
 

Stevenage Locomotive Society
Peter was another SLS Member who left a remarkable collection of photos of which nobody was aware until after his passing. The majority have already been seen at Stevenage in earlier meetings and this probably completes the collection. To provide a full programme Bryan Cross has dipped into another collection, this time Harold Clements'.
